We love a wedding that celebrates a couple’s cultural roots and also reflects the couple’s personal style. For Deepa and Bharadwaj this meant, choosing the scenic Bacara Resort to host their traditional nuptials. Ceremony was held outdoors, where a large stage was setup for the mandap and decorated by Kismet Event Design. Gold punched lanterns, strung flowers and golden archways decorated both the structure and aisle. Traditionally, the groom enters on a horse, but in this case a motorcycle was much more apropos. For ceremony, the couple donned traditional garb, including a stunning red sari paired with numerous gold and red bangles. After the ceremony, the couple changed into more westernized clothing, with a stunning dress featuring silver sequins and an elegant black tux for the groom.
For the reception design, it was all about tropical greenery, with a variety leaves arranged by Blue Magnolia Events. At each placesetting, even more tropical leaves could be found as they were tucked under the transparent chargers for a truly unique look. A special thanks to Madeline Druce Photography for capturing the day and to all the vendors who worked so hard to pull off this wedding day!
